TEDxBreckenridge is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing ideas worth spreading to Summit County, Colorado. We are committed to protecting the privacy of our website visitors and being transparent about the data we collect.

Data Retention

Google Analytics

We retain Google Analytics data for 26 months (the default Google Analytics 4 setting). After 26 months, data is automatically deleted from Google’s servers.

Mailing List

Email addresses remain in our Mailchimp account until you unsubscribe. Once you unsubscribe, your email address is removed from our active mailing list but may be retained in Mailchimp’s system for compliance purposes (preventing accidental re-subscription).

Contact Form Submissions

If you contact us via email or contact form, we retain your message as long as needed for communication purposes. You may request deletion of your messages at any time by contacting us.

Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the data we collect:

  • SSL/HTTPS Encryption - All data transmitted to and from our website is encrypted using industry-standard SSL/HTTPS protocols
  • No Payment Processing - We do not process payments directly on our site; all transactions are handled by trusted third-party services (Ticketsauce, Givebutter)

Children’s Privacy

Our website is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
